Anticipation

Sometimes you preposition snow plows when the forecast calls for 5-8 inches of snow.  In Chicago, this is a good practice.  Today, even though it is 48 degrees out, I can imagine the sun-dried pavement covered knee-deep in powder in 24 hours.  It’s not pessimism, it’s anticipation.
