CONVERSgence

CONVERSgence:
Straining to see
I already know
Light up above
Stars down below
Holding my shoes
Waiting to dance
Wearing my skirt
Not wearing pants
My shoes wait for me
To dance near and far
I hold two of them
The ground is a star
A camera is raised
I stand very still
The image is cast
We swallow the pill
Some see hanging feet
Some see hoods of hate
Some scream out their lungs
Some promise it’s fate
All bring expertise
All type with eyes teared
All scream at their screens
It’s worse than we feared
